Health Promotion and Public Health for Nursing Students
Transforming Nursing Practice is a series tailor made for preregistration student nurses. Each book in the series is:
- Affordable
- Mapped to the NMC Standards and Essential Skills Clusters
- Focused on applying theory to practice
- Full of active learning features
not relevant to module indicative content.
Excellent easily readable book with links to essential skills clusters. Naturally flows from health to public health. Inclusion of behaviour change extremely useful for building practical skills.
Scenarios on sexual health would be useful. And including sexuality and transgender as community groups/variations in patients that need to be considered.
An excellent resources for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The skills clusters is excellent to support students to map their learning, it is a particularly supportive resources for other post registered and postgraduate students who are returning to education
Well written and insightful book
Relevant examples of Health promotions used throughout
Essential reading and highly recommended
The student like this book as it is easy to ready and forms a foundation to practice.
