Bridge Structures
Bridge Structures - Assessment, Design and Construction - aims to present the transformation of theoretical knowledge into guidelines and specifications that are compliant with the technical constraints of bridge engineering design. Papers will be solicited from researchers, designers, fabricators and contractors of significant bridge projects, covering a wide range of topics and interests to bridge engineers from all over the world. The main difference between existing journals, and the reason why Bridge Structures is of particular interest to engineers working in the field, is that the focus is on practical issues and on how certain techniques can be adopted in the work of the bridge engineer.
The scope of the journal encompasses, but is not restricted to, analysis, assessment, construction, design, fabrication, maintenance, management and rehabilitation of bridge structures. Bridge Structures is intended for a worldwide audience of practitioners and researchers who are working in the area of bridge engineering.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically as an e-mail attachment (preferably as a Word document) to Khaled M. Mahmoud khaled@kmbtc.com

This journal is intended to narrow the gap between researchers and practitioners and to provide state-of-the-art solutions to the emerging challenges and problems confronting the bridge engineering community.
Bridge Structures - Assessment, Design and Construction- is an international, peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for publishing primarily:
Practical papers with high technical content of immediate value to practicing bridge engineers.
Papers offering innovative techniques in design and construction that bring new perspectives to the field of bridge engineering.
Papers on issues of fabrication
The scope of the journal encompasses, but is not restricted to, analysis, assessment, construction, design, fabrication, maintenance, management and rehabilitation of bridge structures.
