The Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science advances the understanding of both the fundamentals of engineering science and its application to the solution of challenges and problems in engineering.
'The Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science is dedicated to the publication of high quality papers on all aspects of mechanical engineering science. It represents one of the oldest parts of the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the first issue being published under the guidance of a distinguished Editorial Board in June 1959.
This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science publishes peer-reviewed original papers that advance understanding of both the fundamentals of engineering science and its application to the solution of problems in mechanical engineering systems, machines and components. The Journal has an international reputation for excellence and is regarded as core material for every engineering collection.
