"This is foundational and state-of-the-art for online interviewing methods and technologies. I am overwhelmingly impressed by the organization of this text. By including 10 actual studies, we not only learn about the design and organization of the research questions which animate the beginnings of the research project, but we learn what really happened, the problems and difficulties actually encountered (these are inevitable in all research), and how these were handled. The editor provides a common schematic diagram for each chapter.

A very good Book, especially in times of digitization.
Chose another text
I adopted Creswell's textbook (also Sage) instead, because it is broader in scope.
Students loved it and found it very relevant. This is the first book I found that addressed the differences between online research and f2f. Especially good at covering the IRB procedures.
