Discourse as Data is an incredibly useful workbook which guides readers through understanding a large range of approaches to discourse analysis.
This book is a wonderful teaching tool that gives an in-depth insight into principles and practice of conducting a discourse analysis. It will also be very useful for our dissertation students who are using discourse analysis in their research.
The data is more qualitative than quantitative. I was hoping to see the quantifying discourse data.
Useful if looking at analysing text covering subject areas such as intertextuality, and social theory.
